This is one of the "new" HD for 2012. And this is what the HD site says about it:
A union of opposites that sacrifices nothing, the Switchback's modern styling brings vintage Harley-Davidson simplicity to today’s roads in a look that defines classic: both true to its roots and completely contemporary. And with its detachable windshield and saddlebags, it's like having two bikes in one: a powerful, head-turning street cruiser that can also go the distance as a comfortable, easy-handling tourer.
I'm ok with it. Kinda looks like a Fat Boy and Street Glide had a baby or something. Can't bitch about the bump up to 103" either. Though I wonder how Polaris feels about the name poaching?
After work last Saturday I hopped on the moto and headed west for Grand Haven. After talking to some folks who were at Mid-Ohio Vintage Days, I'm positive I made the right decision.
On Monday I took a ride up to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes which were pretty awesome. No pics of that though...

Last year was the cat's pajamas, and I can almost guarantee this year is gonna be even better! I won't be there, but Steven Stone will, and that dude is nearly as cool as I am. So, you should go.
If you're a motorcyclist that lives within 6 hours of SLC and you don't show up to this here shindig, you're a loser and deserve a cock punch.

I got a call a little over a month ago from my homie Jordan over at The Horse asking if I knew of any rad local bikes that could fill up a few pages in the next issue. He only had a few days to get it done before he left for Born Free 3 so I introduced him to my buddy Marcel. Marcel has built some of the nicest cafe style Sportsters I have ever seen. Don't believe me? Go find issue #111 and decide for yourself!
