Found these photos of my dad and I on his Exciter 440. This was in '81 or '82. I was riding that thing solo dolo not long after.

Sort of crazy to think he was younger than me in that photo. A kid is the last thing I'd want to deal with at this point in my life.

Just took the last ride of the year on the Green Machine. 14,515 miles have come and gone since I pulled it in the garage a year ago. A lot more quality miles rather than quantity miles this season. Big ups to all of you I met and/or got to see again this year. I look forward to a lot more of it in 2012!

I hopped on a jet plane up to the homeland for a long holiday weekend.

All the modern toys are gone, but pops still has a few vintage sleds in lying around. This one is a 1965 Hus-Ski. It's powered by a 247cc JLO single that put out a whopping 10.4 hp back then, so needless to say it can barely get out of it's own way these days.

The muffler fell off back in '02 when I rode it last, so it's loud as shit, but still fun as can be.

If any of you have one of these motors lying around the parts pile, please let me know. A broken recoil ended the days fun, so I'd like to have it fixed for the next decades ride.

Jeff was hauling tail down 696 yesterday when his front tire decided it didn't want to have air in it anymore. He use his mad skills to keep it up right for a few lanes to try to pull over before losing it and doing a left side slider into the ditch.

The bikes got some scars, his gear is trash, but he's fine.

Wear your gear people, you never know when your bike will try to kill you!
