1989 FZR 600.

I just came across these in my photobucket.

This one one of those bikes I should have kept. I think I paid $250 for it, then promptly sold all of the fairings on eBay for around $500. I only put a few hundred miles on the thing before I passed it on to a buddy who needed a bike. Then he turned around and sold it for twice what I sold it to him for! 

Oh well.

We had a gorgeous weekend here in Motown. I rode the Empulse around as much as the batteries let me.

Yamaha has been teasing this one for a few weeks, and finally debuted it today. 

Meet the 2014 Star Bolt.

It's available in base and R-spec trim levels. The R has adjustable suspension, a fancy seat, and a gross tank stripe.  If you're in the market, I suggest going with the base model to save $300 and avoid having to be stuck with the skid mark on the tank.

Buell Lightning Super TT.

I was just checking out this poster over at Asphalt and Rubber when I noticed the '07 Lightning Super TT. I don't remember this model. Was it only a one year thing? It's way cool. The front fender and "number plates" change the entire look and feel.

Special Editions for '13.

More like Special Needs for 2013. The Bonneville looks awful. The Speed Triple is neat, but I could definitely do without the Stripes. All in all, the they are very "5 years ago".
