Thunderdrome is back!

If you're new and don't know the deets, click here to get in the know, or just watch this video from last year and you'll get a pretty good idea of what it's all about...

Anywho, I'll be competing in the scooter class with this bad mutha. Whatchu know bout 50cc's of water cooled fuel injected italian fury? Yeah, thought so.

It just came out of cold storage today, so stay tuned for updates and what not. Race #1 is April 30th.

  1. I know my old derestricted fuel injection 50cc Italian Piaggio NRG with a race pipe on would hit 120 kmh (75mph) and was faster than any bike through the city! At least until the cops impounded it and stole my exhaust. I sold it now unfortunately but it was so fun to ride. That track looks wicked fast. Fun racing too.

  2. Any leads where I could find racey bits for this bike? It needs an exhaust. It hits 40 mph like nothing, but can barely do any more than that.

  3. the leo vinci ones are pretty good, but u can also normally modify the stock one by cutting off that small pipe on the side which looses it power and by knocking out the piece in the end which makes it too thin. there are some other tricks too, try googling derestricting a scooter.

  7. Hi the sr50 liquid cooled Aprilia is a good scooter to tune-up, you could try to www.malossi.com (they make the race-kit to Aprilia sr Trofeo(Cup)), or www.polini.com these are any limits about power kits?
