Top 10 of '10.

This is my list of albums for this year. No particular order, just the ones that came out in 2010 that I listened to most (according to my iTunes). Love 'em or hate 'em this is what they are:

Stay tuned for a list of singles. You might really hate me after seeing that one...

  1. i gotta get the new Sage. i assume he's still solid? that Sword record has a great album cover but they forgot how to write songs after the first record, imo. they freakin meander all over the place. first album was killer then the second one was unfocused and anticlimactic. this third one has a couple good jams but his vocals kill it b/c of their monotony. oh well. as for Danzig's new one... there's no point in listening to any Danzig post IV when you can be listening to I-IV. shitty drums and awful solos and pinch harmonics courtesy of tommy victor. couple good choruses here and there. best thing about the album is hearing Danzig pronounce it. Sab-ay-oth. he's the greatest.

  2. Sage is still solid, but he's getting a bit too political for my liking. I can only handle so much, y'know?

  3. homie's always been super political. i think the sax line to "inherited scars" is one of the greatest lines ever. such a killer beat.
you ever peep his band, Non-Prophets? they're def more chill when it comes to that. little more relaxed and funny.

  4. Yeah, I've got the NP album too. And yes, I'm with ya on Inherited Scars. That entire album is great. Probably my favorite one of his.
