Sons of Anarchy. Good or Bad?

Season 2 starts on Tuesday. I'm not a TV guy at all, but I did watch this show last year. As far as TV goes, I dug it. I'm sure a lot of you hate it, and now think less of me for watching it, but I'm interested to see what others think about it. Henry Rollins is going to have a role this season which I think is cool too. What do you think? Does this make him a "sell out"? Is it ok? Leave your comments below.

  2. I'd like to see that show. I get kinda nervous when something that I like shows up in the mainstream. Usually it gets all messed up

  3. Freak, that's what I was worried about at first too. I figured it would be totally fake and not true to life at all. They've done a good job "keeping it real". And like PJ said, it's entertaining at the very least.

  5. Who cares what anyone else thinks? It's a great show, very suspenseful and it always leaves me thinking 'man, how the fuck did they get away with putting that on TV?'

  6. Yeah, no kidding, they get away with some shit on there don't they!? Funny, I figured I'd get a flaming for liking it, but it looks like I'm not the only one.

  7. fx has the best dramas on tv right now. i've been watching "rescue me" and "nip/tuck" for years. those shows are as crazy as "sons."

as for henry; good for him. been a big fan of his since black flag. i often dig his writing and enjoyed "the henry rollins show" on ifc. he's been in tv and movies for 15 years, so i think the "sellout" tag has worn thin.

  8. Yeah, nip/tuck, SOA, an HBO series here and there, and Top Gear are the only things I care to watch. The 2 FX ones being musts.
